When Simon Cowell confirmed that he was to become a father at the end of August, he had already been struggling with the gravity of the situation for some weeks. However, since he publicly confirmed the news to the BBC, Simon has been behaving in an openly loved up manner.

Indulging in PDAs towards Lauren Silverman left, right and centre, the 53-year-old has been behaving in an uncharacteristically sensitive manner.
